How to Take Time Off From Work When You have a Small Business

Are you feeling overwhelmed with your small business? Are you struggling to find time to take a break? In this video, I’m going to show you three ways that you can create free time inside your small business so that you can finally take a vacation.

In today’s video, we will discuss how to make sure you capture your free time and ensure that your small business is growing. As a business coach, I’m passionate about it, and I know the importance of ensuring small businesses are on the right track.

My name is Doug Barra. And for the last 16 years, I have had the honor and privilege to assist the owners of small, local businesses like you in transforming what it means to be a business owner. You see, I believe that you are the most courageous people in the world, taking on the well-being of not only yourself and your family, but also your employees, their families, your customers, their families, and even the world. So, I want to ensure that courage is rewarded with the time, money, and freedom that we all went into business for in the first place.

First and foremost, it is vital that you take time for yourself. As the old saying goes, “You can’t pour from an empty cup.”

You need to make sure that you are taking care of yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally in order to be able to take care of your business. This means scheduling time for yourself every single day even if it’s just 10 or 15 minutes. Get up a little early and do something that makes you feel good, whether it’s reading, writing, meditating, or working out. It’s essential to have some time each day where you can focus on yourself and recharge your batteries.

The second way to create free time inside your small business is by automating as much as possible. Technology has come a long way, and there are now many software programs and applications that can automate repetitive tasks inside your business. This will free up your time to focus on other, more important things.

Some examples of tasks that you can automate include:
– Sending out email newsletters
– Managing your social media accounts
– Posting blog content
– Tracking your finances
– Responding to customer inquiries

There are also many online tools and resources that can help you automate your small business. Do some research and see what could work best for you in your business.

The third way to create free time inside your small business is by delegating tasks to others. This could be to employees, contractors, or even virtual assistants. Delegating tasks will allow you to focus on the more critical aspects of your business while freeing up your time.

Some examples of tasks that you can delegate include:
– Bookkeeping
– Customer service
– Social media marketing
– Data entry
– Blog writing

There are many ways to delegate tasks, so again, do some research and see what would work best for you and your business.

So those are three ways that you can create free time inside your small business. Remember, making time for yourself is essential, automating as much as possible and delegating tasks to others.

If you can do these things, you’ll finally be able to take a vacation and enjoy your free time.
